Bozeman, Montana is a relatively small but growing community (population
30,000) nestled in a high valley (elevation: 4800') at the foot
of the Bridger Mountains. Located off Interstate 90 about 90 miles
north of Yellowstone National Park, the area is a Mecca for outdoor
enthusiasts, featuring snow skiing, trout fishing, hiking, rafting,
mountaineering, hunting and many other outdoor activities within
a short distance.
Home to Montana State University (MSU), with 12,000 students, the area is an eclectic mix of rural agricultural industry, art boutiques and a growing high tech industry, including biotechnology, optoelectronics and software - all of which are reflected in the local culture, a mixture of Western individualism, art and and intellectualism. |
